Coombe Cellars Windsurfing
I’d been wanting to take some more footage with the head cam for some time but there’s been so much rain. Coombe Cellars was on with a westerly and matching tide. I put the call into Danny yesterday but he couldn’t be there today and kicked himself otherwise he could have got some first class footage.

The wind turned out to be a full 10 plus knots more than forecast with the funnelling effect of the Teign. There were some really good sailors down with jumps and air gybes being performed. TORBAY SURFING GUARANTEES THAT EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS LANDED! I caught two anonymous standout sailors on my head cam and Dan mixed in my on board footage. With mission now accomplished I can resume cover and return to the gardening.
On another note, we are planning a larger windsurfing/kitesurfing movie that Danny will film. If you are going for a session, please let us know by posting in the forums or dropping us an email.

Sunday looks promising again...and if you fancy getting some really good footage, let me know and I will take you up to North Devon, or some other little gem wave spots. The Teign is ideal for getting in some practice moves to then take out in the waves. I really have missed this place, and it was nice to meet some friendly folk.

Nick (the guy with the helmet cam) might be working tomorrow as he has weird shifts, but if you think the turnout will be good with plenty of action to film/photograph. I might be interested in going.

Not being there is really annoying. I could have made an epic windsurf movie. Next time ring me and I will escape from work!
