Yeah I know exactly what a 'real skimboarding session is'. After I've sailed a good windsurfing session, had my arms pulled off wakeboarding and attempted to improve my surfing after stand up paddling or kayaking. I put in some quality skim board time in with the kids with a '99' ice-cream in hand at Preston.
Did I get the answer right? Mines a chocolate chip.
But seriously we don't discriminate here all are welcome and I'm sure you can kick my skim board ar..........se !! Send in any footage or pics and we'll feature them in the skimboarding session. If they're really good they can go on the front page.
after watching and hanging out with some of the worlds best skim boarders..iam affraid Iam still not impressed at all... theres nothing Ive ever watched or seen in person which grabs me in the world of skim boarding... in my mind its in the leauge of stand up paddle boarding... the hardest parts of surfing are paddeling and popping up... both are not required in skim boarding or sup... making them in my eyes pretty lame in comparison... fun on small or flat days is about the only place they have for me...(and many many others :O)

yes i know what it is.
unfortunately i just dont see people skimming to that skill in the bay due to the lack of consistent waves.
Perhaps you would like to proove me wrong?
