can anyone tell me what board to get im a total newb but i love surfing ive gone a couple of times and want to get a board what should my first board be

A longboard is easiest to surf, but very limited in terms of turning. The next size down is a mini mal which is what I would probably go with if I was learning to surf.

Good boards for starters

Good boards for starters would be Starboard Start, Starboard GO, BIC 293, . i.e wide boards with lots of volume 160 -205 Litres . Some have dagger boards to help you get up wind. Check out second hand.
