Kitesurfing

After work, I visited Paignton/Preston Beach at low tide and snapped some new photos of some regular kite'ees and new faces. The conditions are looking better this weekend for surfing, so hopefully I can do another gallery update later on.

This morning I met up with local kitesurfer Iian regarding the website I'm building for him (if you are after driving lessons click here to see). Iian mentioned he was meeting up with others for a kiting session over at Torre Abbey Sands this afternoon. Having some spare time, I went down to snap some new shots for the gallery. Enjoy.

I have updated the gallery section with new pictures taken today and yesterday of Surfing at Corbyn Head and Kitesurfing at Paignton. The easterlies should continue till tomorrow and start to fade out on Monday so there should be plenty more time to get some surf in.

Easterlies finally came in bringing onshore crumbling mayhem... But it was good enough with some nice sizable waves on the outside. Dan got some nice pics whilst I caught a few on his trusty 'Yak'.

To the kitesurfer who injured his ankle we all wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you out on the water soon.

Today, during work, I was able to get down to Livermead Beach to take some pics of the local small gathering of surfers. Also, I was able to head over to Paignton Beach to see the kitesurfing action. I was abit disappointed I couldn't make it a little earlier as people were starting to pack up.

Today there were good conditions for Kitesurfing and Windsurfing (much better than yesterday) I was there taking pics midday between 12:00 and 1:30. If you were there at that time, take a look. Also, with the amount of aerials Tim pulled off, I think he deserves front page!

Conditions not as good as last Saturday, however, that didn't stop me from taking some more windsurfing/kitesurfing gallery pics! I was there yesterday around midday so if you were sailing or kiting at that time.......

Fresh of the plane from Borneo after my personal introduction to an eight foot shark, we decided to have a sesh in some water inhabited only by killer jelly fish. Check out the new Gallery update from today's Easterly. Conditions were a bit mushy, but some nice moments were caught by Dan with his new camera.
